Elimination
of a Parts Washer
When
using a straight oil to form this control
arm, an extra washing process was included
to insure proper weld quality. Metal Mates
introduced HDP Lubricant to the stamping
department to help eliminate the messiness
associated with straight oils. After several
tryouts, this customer was able to eliminate
a 1,000 gallon wash, costly utilities
and labor.
